Past Competitions
New Century Music Century - For Young Iranians
Welcome to the New Century Music Competition for all young Iranian nationals living in and outside of Iran.
In 2021 NCMC ran in two categories: 1) Solo Piano and 2) Solo Voice.
Our competition winners have then gone on to perform in the winners' concert and have masterclasses with one of the judge. They have also been preparing for their ABRSM exam as an NCMC ABRSM scholarship winner.
One of our passions has always been to promote and nurture Iranian musicians and composers and to provide a platform for them to flourish around the world.
With this competition we would like to give young Iranian musicians an opportunity to be heard by some of the most prestigious and highly skilled judges in the industry.
We aim to bring a high level of professionalism to our competition and to judge every candidate based on their level, technique, musicality and performance presentation.
Our panel of judges consists of international voice and piano artists from around the world, including the Metropolitan Opera, Milan's La Scala, and institutes such as National Opera Studio,
Guildhall School of Music and Drama, Royal College of Music, Trinity College of Music and
Tokyo Music Academy.
